WARRANTY TERM

Your MetaLife product is guaranteed against manufacturing defects that have been duly detected by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda or its authorized technical assistance network, during the legal period of 03 (three) months, counting from the date issue of the invoice, with MetaLife granting the following 21 (twenty-one) months free of charge as an additional guarantee, totaling 24 (twenty-four) months as a longer term, following the classification below:

  • 03 (three) months ropes, upholstery, fabrics, rubber and in cases of peeling or corrosion in surface finishes such as paint (including varnish), chrome plating, nickel plating and zinc plating;
  • 06 (six) months hardware, plastic parts and springs (only against breakage of these parts);
  • 24 (twenty-four) months structural parts made of wood or metal that are subject to structural stress.

To request the warranty and facilitate its service, the serial number, invoice number, type and/or model of the product must be provided.

Legal and/or extended warranties are automatically invalidated if:

  • the use of the product is not exclusive to exercises defined by the pilates method;
  • the use of parts, tools or substances (lubricants, cleaning products, etc.) not indicated in the equipment manual and/or not original is detected;
  • the guidelines, recommendations and specifications presented in the equipment manual regarding use, inspections before each use, reviews and preventive maintenance of the product are not followed, these costs will not be covered by MetaLife;
  • when installing the product, the specifications and recommendations of the equipment manual regarding the conditions of the product installation site are not observed, such as leveling and stability of the floor, suitability of the location for installation, use of appropriate tools and non-compliance with the installation steps. assembly;
  • there has been inappropriate use, misuse or if the product has undergone alterations or aesthetic and/or functional modifications, as well as repairs have been carried out by people or entities not authorized by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda;
  • there are signs of tampering with the product, removal and/or tampering with the serial number or identification label of the product and springs, replacement of parts with others that are not original or not authorized by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda.

Legal and/or extended warranties do not cover:

  • expenses with product installation carried out by people or entities not authorized by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda;
  • expenses resulting from the installation of parts and accessories that do not belong to the product, even those sold by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda, except those specified for each model in the equipment manual;
  • expenses with labor, materials, parts and adaptations necessary to prepare the site for installing the product;
  • product failure resulting from the user's lack of knowledge in applying the pilates method;
  • product maintenance and/or cleaning services and/or expenses;
  • failures in the normal functioning of the product resulting from lack of cleaning and excess residue, or even due to the existence of objects foreign to its operation and intended use;
  • transportation of the product to the final installation location;
  • products or parts that have been damaged as a result of removal, handling, falls or acts and effects arising from nature, such as oxidation, exposure to humidity or rain, flood, tornadoes, seismic events, etc.;
  • costs of inspection and diagnostic processes (including the technical visit fee) determining that the failure was caused by a reason not covered by this warranty;
  • expenses arising from sending and returning the product for maintenance;
  • travel to service products installed outside the municipality where MetaLife technical assistance is based, which may charge a travel fee for the technician, previously approved by the consumer, according to the mileage table used by Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda and published through the authorized MetaLife technical assistance service;
  • parts worn out by natural use, such as handles, upholstery, rubber finishes, springs, ropes, carabiners, handles, as well as the labor used to replace these parts and the consequences arising from these occurrences.

General considerations:

  • Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda does not authorize any person or entity to assume on its behalf any other responsibility relating to the warranty of its products other than those explained here;
  • Metalife Ind. e Com. de Móveis Ltda reserves the right to change general, technical and aesthetic characteristics of its products, without prior notice, and this warranty term is valid for products sold and installed in Brazilian territory;
  • for your peace of mind, preserve and keep the warranty term, the equipment manual and the product purchase invoice always on hand;
  • To prevent the equipment from being sent to the MetaLife factory where it would be analyzed, we suggest sending photos and/or videos relating to your request to facilitate the issuance of the report, which will make your service even faster;
  • It is the sole responsibility of the owner of the equipment for any and all types of occurrences that may cause physical and/or material damage to third parties, due to improper use, incorrect installation, lack of monitoring by a professional accredited in the Pilates method or even due to the lack of inspections (before each use), revisions and preventive maintenance of all MetaLife equipment, according to the owner's manuals that accompany the products;
